You can influence the day-to-day running of your community. Making a difference starts with a good idea – that might be the renovation of a local centre, improvements to a green space or starting a series of workshops. Whatever your vision, stay determined and see it through.

If you want to suggest a way in which your community could be improved and you’ve got the drive to convince others about your plan then apply for the Youth Opportunity and Youth Capital Funds.

There are also opportunities to maintain your community as well as change it. Those in need of care – whether through poverty, age or circumstance – need a constant network of support and you could be involved in making their lives better.
