Parks and open spaces
There's more green in Brent than you think. Our borough has more than 1000 acres of public open space (that's nearly ten per cent of the whole area).
The most impressive green spaces are Fryent Country Park and the Welsh Harp reservoir, but there's also a whole host of smaller, more hidden areas.
Of the 100 or so public parks and open spaces, most contain recreational facilities, often including tennis courts and other pitches for specific sports. They are also used as venues for events - from fairs to live music.
